Software Solution Adds New Capability
to Back and Neck Machine Performance
Fort
Collins, CO—June 29, 2007—MedaView Products, LLC., developer of software solutions for the MEDX
back and neck extension machines, today introduced a
solution aimed at helping therapists and patients achieve
the full performance of these rehabilitative strength
training machines. MedaView 2.0, with it's built-in pacer,
touch-screen capability, and easy to follow graphical
displays, assists the patient with consistent timing during
the exercise routine and helps provide a more effective
workout. The MedaView software program is easily adapted to
the existing MEDX machines, changing their
appearance and adding new life and excitement for both the
therapist and patient while working with these machines.
The
MedaView program is intuitive, with a logical interface and
flow that improves the patient's perception and
understanding of the exercise routine and the benefits
gained.
There's no need to remember what has to be done next; the
program leads the therapist through each step. Patients
quickly understand the operation of the new pacing device
and strive to get the best score on their repetition
timing. In addition, comparative reports allow the
therapist to show patients the history of previous tests
and their progress made to date. These built-in features
also simplify the therapist's tasks and save time since all
controls are at the machine, eliminating the need to go
back-and-forth from the machine to the workstation.
Moreover, the simplicity of the program makes the patient
setup and test times faster and easier.
Unlike
existing MEDX machine DOS software, the MedaView
program runs on nearly any modern Windows-based computer, which enables the therapist to do everything from adding remarkable
capability to one or more physical medicine machines, to
networking the entire clinic. Thorough information is
easily accessed in the MedaView patient database, providing
more efficient records and insurance reporting.
The
new MedaView software enables therapists to optimize the MEDX back and neck extension machine performance,
standardize workouts, improve techniques and abilities,
increase and simplify the capability of their clinics, and
improve patient interaction.
